The Shit I Do To Make Y’all Look Fly: Tokyo 22 (Tokyo is almost open, post Pandemic)
Well… It’s been over 3 years since I have been back to Japan, as it’s largely been closed off for travel due to the pandemic. Recently they opened up for business travel only (there is a bit of a process to get a Visa, so don’t go trying to just buy a flight tomorrow playboy…)
… Anyways last week the crew set off to Japan to check in on our Tokyo Store. Thought it would be a good time for another “This Shit I Do To Make Y’all Look Fly” edition.

One of the main reasons we traveled out to Japan was cause we are also looking to expand and open a 2nd Japan location in Osaka…(top secret location for now) but on my Osaka travels we bumped into this resale store selling that fresh RRR123 x Union Shit. Guess we are big in Osaka!!! Ha!
now it’s not all play over here…we had 4 days straight of wall to wall meetings…UGH.

After three days of wall to wall meetings for the store operations…had another day shopping for fabrics for the Union line…you know, just checking out those “Fabrics from Foreign Lands” and shit…
then off to dinner…had to do it big this night cause we hadn’t been here in 3 years. Park Hyatt for Dinner…swanky!
for those that know…Breakfast Buffet at Cerulean is only on weekends right now…as Japan is still getting up to speed…but this was a pleasant sight…
it’s our 4 year anniversary of the Tokyo store so we were prepping for a lickle soiree…good to see the store is still looking fresh. BLK NWS still in full effect. Sheila Bridges, Delfin Finley too… Thanks to Luke, Lucie and Ella from Jil for the flowers (via Tomoki, Arisa and Erika).

stopped by NBHD to check on Shin, Yu Oka and squad…Shin’s succulents are looking great! (do I have to say pause here?). *poor Emily…this was her first trip to Japan and I dragged her around on my streetwear tour…no girls shops allowed!!! ha!
Union Tokyo must be doing well…they got me this nice Gift as my Tokyo whip…! Ha!

…speaking of rich…every seen a 100 dollar store instead of a 1 dollar store?? only in Japan (knee slapper)…
stopped by the new Visvim Naka Meguro shop. Really beautiful…Dennison, don’t be sad…we will be back!!!

Kind of weird… Since Japan is only open for foreigners under special conditions… The airport is kind of empty… Felt really weird.
